Ţ inutul dela miazăzi era al lui Efraim, cel dela miazănoapte al lui Manase, şi marea le slujea ca hotar; la miazănoapte se întîlneau cu Aşer şi la răsărit cu Isahar.

The south side belonged to Ephraim and the north side to Manasseh, and the sea was their border; and they reached to Asher on the north and to Issachar on the east.
