F iii lui Iosif, alcătuiau două seminţii: Manase şi Efraim; şi Leviţilor nu li s'a dat parte în ţară, afară de cetăţile pentru locuit, cu locurile goale dimprejurul lor pentru turmele şi averile lor.

Because the sons of Joseph were two families, Manasseh and Ephraim. And they did not give part of the land to the Levites. They only gave them cities to live in, with fields for their animals and whatever they had.
