S tăpînirea lui se întindea peste muntele Hermonului, peste Salca, peste tot Basanul, pînă la hotarul Gheşuriţilor şi Maacatiţilor, şi peste jumătate din Galaad, hotarul lui Sihon, împăratul Hesbonului.

He ruled over Mount Hermon and Salecah and all Bashan. He ruled as far as the land of the Geshurites, the Maacathites, and half of Gilead, as far as the land of Sihon, king of Heshbon.
