I ată împăraţii pe cari i-au bătut copiii lui Israel, şi a căror ţară au luat -o în stăpînire de cealaltă parte a Iordanului, spre răsăritul soarelui, dela pîrîul Arnon pînă la muntele Hermonului, cu toată cîmpia de la răsărit:

Now these are the kings of the land, whom the children of Israel smote, and possessed their land beyond the Jordan toward the sunrising, from the valley of the Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the Arabah eastward:
