D omnul mi -a zis atunci:,, Scoală-te şi pogoară-te în grabă de aici; căci poporul tău, pe care l-ai scos din Egipt, s'a stricat. S'au abătut curînd dela calea pe care le-am arătat -o; şi-au făcut un chip turnat.``

And the Lord said to me, Arise, go down from here quickly, for your people whom you brought out of Egypt have corrupted themselves. They have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them; they have made for themselves a molten image.
