C înd Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, te va aduce în ţara în care vei intra şi o vei lua în stăpînire, şi va izgoni dinaintea ta multe neamuri: pe Hetiţi, pe Ghirgasiţi, pe Amoriţi, pe Cananiţi, pe Fereziţi, pe Heviţi şi pe Iebusiţi, şapte neamuri mai mari la număr şi mai puternice decît tine;
