D ar Sihon, împăratul Hesbonului, n'a vrut să ne lase să trecem pela el; căci Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, i -a făcut duhul neînduplecat, şi i -a împietrit inima, ca să -l dea în mîinile tale, cum vezi azi.

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Jehovah thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as at this day.
