U nde să ne suim? Fraţii noştri ne-au muiat inima, zicînd:,, Poporul acela este un popor mai mare şi mai înalt la statură decît noi; cetăţile sînt mari şi întărite pînă la cer; ba încă, am văzut acolo şi copii de ai lui Anac.``

Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.
