D e aici am mers pe mare, şi a doua zi am ajuns în faţa insulei Chios. În ziua următoare, deabea am atins Samos, ne-am oprit în Troghilion, şi a doua zi am venit la Milet.

Sailing from there, we arrived the following day opposite Chios; and the next day we crossed over to Samos; and the day following we came to Miletus.
