Ş i iată, un înger al Domnului a stătut lîngă el pe neaşteptate, şi o lumină a strălucit în temniţă. Îngerul a deşteptat pe Petru, lovindu -l în coastă, şi i -a zis:,, Scoală-te, iute!`` Lanţurile i-au căzut jos de pe mîni.

And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shined in the cell: and he smote Peter on the side, and awoke him, saying, Rise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
