T ocmai de aceea căutau şi mai mult Iudeii să -L omoare, nu numai fiindcă deslega ziua Sabatului, dar şi pentrucă zicea că Dumnezeu este Tatăl Său, şi Se făcea astfel deopotrivă cu Dumnezeu.

For this therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he had not only violated the sabbath, but also said that God was his own Father, making himself equal with God.
