S ămănătorul a ieşit să-şi samene sămînţa. Pe cînd sămăna el, o parte din sămînţă a căzut lîngă drum: a fost călcată în picioare, şi au mîncat -o păsările cerului.

A sower went out to sow his seed, and as he sowed, some fell along the way, and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
