Ş i iată că în Ierusalim era un om numit Simeon. Omul acesta ducea o viaţă sfîntă, şi era cu frica lui Dumnezeu. El aştepta mîngîierea lui Israel, şi Duhul Sfînt era peste el.

And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was just and pious, awaiting the consolation of Israel, and Holy Spirit was upon him.
