F ariseul sta în picioare, şi a început să se roage în sine astfel:, Dumnezeule, Îţi mulţămesc că nu sînt ca ceilalţi oameni, hrăpăreţi, nedrepţi, preacurvari sau chiar ca vameşul acesta.

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
