C i, cînd eşti poftit, du-te şi aşează-te în locul cel mai depe urmă; pentruca, atunci cînd va veni cel ce te -a poftit, să-ţi zică:, Prietene, mută-te mai sus.` Lucrul acesta îţi va face cinste înaintea tuturor celor ce vor fi la masă împreună cu tine.

But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
