C ăci orice întîi născut este al Meu; în ziua cînd am lovit pe toţi întîii născuţi din ţara Egiptului, Mi-am închinat Mie pe toţi întîii născuţi din Israel, atît din oameni cît şi din dobitoace: ei vor fi ai Mei. Eu sînt Domnul.``

for Mine every first-born, in the day of My smiting every first-born in the land of Egypt I have sanctified to Myself every first-born in Israel, from man unto beast; Mine they are; I Jehovah.'
