D oamne, nu eşti Tu din vecinicie, Dumnezeul meu, Sfîntul meu? Nu vom muri! Doamne, Tu ai ridicat pe poporul acesta ca să-Ţi împlineşti judecăţile Tale; Tu, Stînca mea, l-ai ridicat ca să dai prin el pedepsele Tale!

Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O Lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.
