L ucrul a ajuns la urechea împăratului din Ninive; el s -a sculat de pe scaunul lui de domnie, şi -a scos mantia de pe el, s'a acoperit cu un sac, şi a şezut în cenuşă.

When the word reached the king of Nineveh, he arose from his throne, laid aside his robe from him, covered himself with sackcloth and sat on the ashes.
