D omnul Dumnezeu a jurat pe Sine însuş, şi Domnul, Dumnezeul oştirilor, a zis:,, Mi -e scîrbă de mîndria lui Iacov, şi -i urăsc palatele; de aceea, voi da în mîna vrăjmaşului cetatea cu tot ce este în ea.

The Lord Jehovah hath sworn by himself, saith Jehovah, the God of hosts, I abhor the pride of Jacob, and hate his palaces; and I will deliver up the city with all that is therein.
