Levitic 17:14 ~ Leviticus 17:14

C ăci viaţa oricărui trup stă în sîngele lui, care este în el. De aceea am zis copiilor lui Israel:, Să nu mîncaţi sîngele niciunui trup; căci viaţa oricărui trup este sîngele lui: oricine va mînca din el, va fi nimicit.

“For blood is the life of every living thing. So I said to the people of Israel, ‘Do not eat the blood of any living thing. For the life of every living thing is its blood. Whoever eats it will be cut off.’
