Î mpăratul s'a mîhnit foarte mult cînd a auzit lucrul acesta; s'a gîndit cum ar putea să scape pe Daniel; şi pînă la asfinţitul soarelui s'a trudit să -l scape.

Then the king, when he heard these words, was much distressed and set his mind on Daniel to deliver him; and he labored until the sun went down to rescue him.
