H aldeii au răspuns împăratului:,, Nu este nimeni pe pămînt, care să poată spune ce cere împăratul; deaceea niciodată niciun împărat, oricît de mare şi puternic ar fi fost, n'a cerut aşa ceva dela niciun vrăjitor, cititor în stele sau Haldeu!

The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.
