T e voi tîrî, şi-ţi voi pune un cîrlig în fălci; te voi scoate, pe tine şi toată oastea ta, cai şi călăreţi, toţi îmbrăcaţi în chip strălucit, ceată mare de popor, care poartă scut şi pavăză, şi cari toţi mînuiesc sabia;

I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords.
