V ai! în ce întunecime a aruncat Domnul, în mînia Lui, pe fiica Sionului. A asvîrlit din cer pe pămînt podoaba lui Israel, şi nu Şi -a mai adus aminte de scaunul picioarelor Lui, în ziua mîniei Lui!

How doth the Lord cloud in His anger the daughter of Zion, He hath cast from heaven earth the beauty of Israel, And hath not remembered His footstool in the day of His anger.
