Î n al nouălea an al domniei lui Zedechia, în ziua a zecea a lunii a zecea, a venit Nebucadneţar, împăratul Babilonului, cu toată oştirea lui, împotriva Ierusalimului; au tăbărît înaintea lui, şi au ridicat şanţuri de apărare dejur împrejurul lui.

And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem; and they encamped against it, and built turrets against it round about.
