ş i să zici:, Aşa va fi înecat Babilonul, şi nu se va mai ridica din nenorocirile, pe cari le voi aduce asupra lui; vor cărea sleiţi de puteri!`` Pînă aici sînt cuvintele lui Ieremia.

Then say, Thus will Babylon sink and not rise because of the evil that I will bring upon her; and will be weary (hopelessly exhausted). Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
