G emi, Hesbonule, căci Ai este pustiit! Strigaţi, fiicele Rabei, îmbrăcaţi-vă cu saci, şi bociţi-vă alergînd încoace şi încolo dealungul zidurilor! Căci Malcom se duce în robie, cu preoţii şi căpeteniile sale!

Wail, Heshbon, for Ai is laid waste; cry, you daughters of Rabbah, clothe yourself in sackcloth: lament, and run back and forth among the fences; for Malcam shall go into captivity, his priests and his princes together.
