C uvîntul pe care l -a spus proorocul Ieremia către Baruc, fiul lui Neriia, cînd a scris într'o carte cuvintele acestea, după spusele lui Ieremia, în al patrulea an al lui Ioiachim, fiul lui Iosia, împăratul lui Iuda, sună astfel:
