C ăci aşa vorbeşte Domnul, Dumnezeul lui Israel, despre casele cetăţii acesteia, şi despre casele împăraţilor lui Iuda, cari vor fi surpate ca să facă loc pentru şanţurile de întărire şi pentru săbii,

For this is what the Lord God of Israel says about the houses of this city and about the houses of the kings of Judah which have been torn down to make a strong wall to help in the battle against the Babylonians.
