P oate că Domnul Dumnezeul tău, a auzit cuvintele lui Rabşache, pe pe care l -a trimes împăratul Asiriei, stăpînul său, să batjocorească pe Dumnezeul cel viu, şi poate că Domnul Dumnezeul tău îl va pedepsi pentru cuvintele pe cari le -a auzit. Înalţă dar o rugăciune pentru rămăşiţa care a mai rămas.``

Perhaps the Lord your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to reproach the living God, and will rebuke the words which the Lord your God has heard. Therefore, offer a prayer for the remnant that is left.’”
