C elce umblă în neprihănire, şi vorbeşte fără vicleşug, celce nesocoteşte un cîştig scos prin stoarcere, celce îşi trage mînile înapoi, ca să nu primească mită, cel ce îşi astupă urechea să n'audă cuvinte setoase de sînge, şi îşi leagă ochii ca să nu vadă răul,

He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from taking a bribe, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from looking upon evil:
