S ă n'aduci cu pîne dospită sîngele dobitocului jertfit în cinstea Mea; şi carnea din jertfa praznicului Paştelor să nu fie ţinută în timpul nopţii pînă dimineaţa.

—Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left over night until the morning.
