S ă nu te închini înaintea lor, şi să nu le slujeşti; căci Eu, Domnul, Dumnezeul tău, sînt un Dumnezeu gelos, care pedepsesc nelegiuirea părinţilor în copii pînă la al treilea şi la al patrulea neam al celor ce Mă urăsc,

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
