D omnul a zis lui Moise:,, Iată că voi face să vă ploaie pîne din ceruri. Poporul va ieşi afară, şi va strînge, cît îi trebuie pentru fiecare zi, ca să -l pun la încercare, şi să văd dacă va umbla sau nu după legea Mea.

Then said Jehovah to Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather the daily need on its day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or not.
