S ă răscumperi cu un miel pe orice întîi-născut al măgăriţei; iar dacă nu -l vei răscumpăra, să -i frîngi gîtul. Să răscumperi de asemenea pe orice întîi-născut de parte bărbătească dintre fiii tăi.

And every firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb; and if thou wilt not redeem it, then thou shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among thy children shalt thou redeem.
