Ş i au pus peste ei isprăvnicei, ca să -i asuprească prin munci grele. Astfel a zidit el cetăţile Pitom şi Ramses, ca să slujească de hambare lui Faraon.

And they set over them service-masters to oppress them with their burdens. And they built store-cities for Pharaoh, Pithom and Rameses.
