M ă aşteptam la fericire, şi cînd colo, nenorocirea a venit peste mine; trăgeam nădejde de lumină, şi cînd colo, a venit întunerecul.

تَوَقَّعتُ خَيراً فَجاءَ الشَّرُّ! انتَظَرْتُ النُّورَ، فَحَلَّتْ ظُلمَةٌ دامِسَةٌ.
