Î n ziua aceea s'au adus multe jertfe, şi a fost mare bucurie, căci Dumnezeu dăduse poporului o mare pricină de bucurie. Se bucurau şi femeile şi copiii, şi strigătele de bucurie ale Ierusalimului se auzeau pînă departe.

and they sacrifice on that day great sacrifices and rejoice, for God hath made them rejoice great joy, and also, the women and the children have rejoiced, and the joy of Jerusalem is heard -- unto a distance.
