S olomon avea patru mii de iesle pentru caii dela carăle lui, şi douăsprezece mii de călăreţi pe cari i -a aşezat în cetăţile unde îşi ţinea carăle şi la Ierusalim lîngă împărat.

And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
