A tunci Domnul a trimes împotriva lor pe căpeteniile oştirii împăratului Asiriei, cari au prins pe Manase şi l-au pus în lanţuri. L-au legat cu lanţuri de aramă, şi l-au dus la Babilon.

¶ Therefore, the LORD brought upon them the princes of the host of the king of Assyria who took Manasseh and bound him with fetters of brass and carried him to Babylon.
