P e cînd vorbea el, Amaţia i -a zis:,, Oare te-am făcut sfetnic al împăratului? Pleacă! Pentruce vrei să fii lovit?`` Proorocul a plecat, zicînd:,,Ştiu acum că Dumnezeu a hotărît să te nimicească, pentrucă ai făcut lucrul acesta şi n'ai ascultat sfatul meu.``

And as the prophet was speaking these things unto him, he said unto him, Art thou appointed as the king’s counsel? Forbear; why should thou be smitten? Then the prophet forbare and said, I know that God has determined to destroy thee because thou hast done this and hast not hearkened unto my counsel.
