D upă trecerea anului, oastea Sirienilor s'a suit împotriva lui Ioas, şi a venit în Iuda şi la Ierusalim. Au omorît din popor pe toate căpeteniile poporului, şi au trimes împăratului toată prada la Damasc.

At the end of the year, the army of Syria came up against Joash. They came to Judah and Jerusalem and destroyed all the princes from among the people and sent all their spoil to the king of Damascus.
