I osafat a domnit peste Iuda. Avea treizeci şi cinci de ani cînd a ajuns împărat, şi a domnit douăzeci şi cinci de ani la Ierusalim. Mamă-sa se chema Azuba, fata lui Şilhi.

¶ Thus Jehoshaphat reigned over Judah; he was thirty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Azubah, the daughter of Shilhi.
