N evastă-sa, Iudeica, a născut pe Iered, tatăl lui Ghedor, pe Eber, tatăl lui Soco, şi pe Iecutiel, tatăl lui Zanoah. Aceştia sînt fiii Bitiei, fata lui Faraon, pe care a luat -o Mered de nevastă.
