Î mpăratul David s'a sculat în picioare şi a zis:,, Ascultaţi-mă, fraţilor şi poporul meu! Aveam de gînd să zidesc o casă de odihnă pentru chivotul legămîntului Domnului şi pentru aşternutul picioarelor Dumnezeului nostru, şi mă pregăteam s'o zidesc.
