D avid a întrebat pe Dumnezeu, zicînd:,, Să mă sui împotriva Filistenilor, şi îi vei da în mînile mele?`` Şi Domnul i -a zis:,, Sui-te, şi -i voi da în mînile tale.``

David asked God, Shall I go up against the Philistines? And will You deliver them into my hand? And the Lord said, Go up, and I will deliver them into your hand.
