A ceştia au trecut Iordanul în luna întîi, cînd ieşea din matcă, pe tot cursul lui, şi ei sînt aceia cari au pus pe fugă pe toţi locuitorii din văi, la răsărit şi la apus.

These are the men who went over the Jordan in the first month when it had overflowed all its banks, and put to flight all those in the valleys, east and west.
