L ui Eber i s'au născut doi fii: numele unuia era Peleg, pentrucă pe vremea lui s'a împărţit pămîntul, iar numele fratelui său era Ioctan.

To Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
