A tunci Domnul a trimes împotriva lui Ioiachim cete de Haldei, cete de Sirieni, cete de Moabiţi şi cete de Amoniţi; le -a trimes împotriva lui Iuda, ca să -l nimicească, după cuvîntul pe care -l spusese Domnul prin robii Săi proorocii.

The Lord sent armies of Babylonians, Syrians, Moabites and Ammonites against Jehoiakim. He sent them against Judah to destroy it, just as the word of the Lord had said through His men who spoke for Him.
