A tunci Menahem a bătut Tifsahul şi pe toţi ceice erau în el, cu ţinutul lui dinspre Tirţa; l -a bătut pentrucă nu-şi deschisese porţile. Şi a spintecat pîntecele tuturor femeilor însărcinate.

Then doth Menahem smite Tiphsah, and all who in it, and its borders from Tirzah, for it opened not, and he smiteth, all its pregnant women he hath ripped up.
